Title: I am Found of Her
I, having her has always been of such an unmeasurable blessing to my life. She came to be the director of my life with all the managerial skills. She is always applauded into my memories since she passed through furnaces of burning flames with sleepless nights and restless days to put a meaningful destiny ahead of me. I usually find myself being humbled after remembering the moments I shared with her. Sometimes, I got annoyed with her but rather because of my faults and it was because of little understanding of what I was doing. She always remained an amazing woman and whenever I came to think about her laughter, care, and smile toward me, they always reminded me of being humble. She could never tell whether she was in love in love with me .but she, later on, taught me that actions could always speak louder than mere words.
She did many things for me but I could for a long time now remember one thing in my memories. One day she left home at around noon. She went to the market place which was located somewhere in the town place. I remember at the time she was departing she called Jemie and went to her running she bade me a farewell and she left to town. The market was called Maduka Saba market located almost in the town center. Once she departed I continued playing with my friends until it reached the evening when I was so tired of the game. I had no option rather go back home. I reached home before she came back. I took bath and came out of the bathroom feeling new and more energetic. I changed the clothes my sister Lyn had prepared me food already. I ate the food. No sooner had I finished eating had I fallen asleep leaving the television with no one to watch.
She came back later on when the sun had already kissed the horizon at around 8:00 pm when I was already sleepy. She came nearby me and called with a tender voice, Jemie. I also responded to her with a sleeping voice. I opened up my eyes, seeing her I just smiled and woke up to talk to her. She embraced me and asked if I had taken food already, I said yes to her and this made me feel more of her love which has never said a word to testify it to me. She told me nice with her hand being directed to the bag she carried coming out with a parcel. She opened the parcel with me sitting aside waiting eagerly to see what it was. It was a good-looking wristwatch and what made me happier was it was written waterproof. This excited me more to the extent that I was left speechless just with a huge smile that spoke everything of my gladness and gratitude towards her. I remember that day I couldn’t sleep well and I woke up very early in the morning. Nothing made me not sleep rather than the childish nature of kids when their parents brought them, new staff.
I prepared myself to go to school, mom gave me some tea with slices of bread and put them into my schoolbag. After I wore my new wristwatch and headed to school. There at school, my friends looked at me and my watch surprisingly, this made me notice that my watch was so good ever. I was happy all day because of the watch mom gave me and whenever I looked at the watch my heart acknowledged that am found of her.
